One Causeway Bay is the latest chapter in a long association with this neighbourhood, in which we have always played an integral part. We have watched it grow and develop and we have changed with it over the years, but what has that change looked like?

Originally, The Causeway that names this district was an embanked road built across the low lying mudflat towards North Point in the 1850s. It served as a critical conduit between Central’s businesses and housing and the godowns and wharfs on the East of the Bay – just as it does today – although the godowns have been replaced by premium offices.

Rising above the historic Typhoon Shelter, our modern facade meets Hong Kong’s rich maritime past. The city’s first shelter, built in 1874, has long been a haven for thousands of boats during typhoon season, as well as homes, restaurants and temples all on the water.

We offer the same sense of refuge, blending wellness focused workspaces with vibrant dining and retail, all overlooking the iconic waterfront.
