One of the oldest Hong Kong icons in the truest sense of the word, the Jardines Noonday Gun has been fired every day at the Causeway Bay waterfront since the 1860s in an unbroken tradition that continues to this day. In this video reel, Johnny, the noonday gunner, reflects on the passing of time and the changes he – and the gun – have witnessed over the years.
